Several digital thematic map for forest planning such as compartment map , cadastral map, forest road map, soil type map, topographic map were prepared with 1 : 5,000 scale and incorporated into the GIS application system(Forest Management and Planning System) developed using Arc view and A venue. Forest management plans for planting. tending, harvesting, and forest road were performed with the help of the Forest Management and Planning System.
