Strategies and incentives for reducing carbon emissions from deforestation and degradation(REDD) has become key issues and major component of continuing negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC). This study aims to address a future direction of REDD/REDD-plus project based on current issues that we review methods available to apply REDD/REDD-plus project.
